Caput medusae need less water and can thrive in more direct sunlight that other air plants. They often have white trichomes that helps them absorb water which is one reason they need less water.

Soak upside down in water. Be careful to not have water stuck in the base of the plant as it will cause the plant to rot. Water weekly or bi-weekly. Let plant dry upside down. Display in location with indirect sunlight.
